Construction of the new bus station near the secondary school Leoninum, Handrup

In October 2009, after about two years of planning and building, a new car park has been provided near the secondary school Leoninum in Handrup, with 18 parking spaces for buses and 60 for cars.

With its bespoke solutions of street furniture, Thieme was able to fully meet the planners' requests. Today, the bus station's appearance is characterised by our custom built bus shelters, barrier systems, a display case and matching benches.

During a ceremony that marked the station's inauguration, architect Peter Stelzer from the planning office Regionalplan & UVP thanked all parties involved for their close cooperation.
